Last month Hannah escaped to Florence for a long weekend in the balmy sunshine. Florence is the beating heart of Tuscany, home of the greatest collections of Renaissance art and sculpture in the world, a regional epicentre of fashion, fine food and wine, and a beautiful medieval urban jewel worshipped by writers throughout history as an escape for the soul.

She headed to i-escape favourite Riva Lofts, a historic mill on Florence’s Arno river, transformed by a top Italian architect into 10 cool studios with fantastic garden and pool #iescapetrip.

The studios all are awash with bold contemporary design, from polished concrete floors and muted colours, to flea market furniture and Mies van der Rohe chairs, sleek fireplaces and tables designed by owner and architect Claudio Nardi himself.
Hannah explored the sights, breakfasting at La Ménagère, before relaxing by the pool to top up on Vitamin D. Bliss.
Hannah’s style is sleek and minimal, mixing black and white rather than colours. She prefers to wear classic yellow gold jewellery which goes with every outfit.
