“It was very important to me that our latest launch had real heart and meaning. So when my son, Rory, drew a picture of the most beautiful oyster pendant, inspired by family holidays spent collecting shells along the beach, I instantly wanted to transform it into something special. Named ‘Gaia,’ after the ancient Greek personification of Mother Earth, the pendant reflects a deep connection to the ocean and a commitment to protecting it.
The necklace supports our shared mission of protecting our oceans, a cause especially close to our family after many beach cleans together. We have joined Work for Good and will donate 50% of profits from every Necklace sold to the Marine Conservation Society, a leading UK environmental charity dedicated to protecting our ocean. By 2050, plastic could outweigh fish in our oceans. We all need to come together and take action to prevent this and protect future generations. Raising money through a piece designed by my son makes this incredibly special to me.” - Amelia, Auree Founder.
50% of the profits from every sale of the Gaia Oyster Necklace will be donated to the Marine Conservation Society via Work for Good. This means that £40-50 from every sale will go directly to the Marine Conservation Society.
Work for Good is a platform that allows businesses to easily donate to their chosen charities to help provide unrestricted, sustainable income for charities. You can find out more here>
