The Inspiration For The Gaia Oyster Necklace | By Rory
Inspired by the Shoreline
We’re so excited to introduce our new Gaia Oyster Necklace. Designed by Amelia’s son, Rory, the piece was inspired by family holidays spent collecting shells along the beach and many beach cleans together.

Rory's Story
"Hello, my name's Rory. I thought I would tell you about my designed Oyster Necklace. I was inspired to design this because when we go on holiday my family would always go on to the beach and we'd pick up rocks and stones and pebbles and shells. We always used to do beach cleans. I thought I'd raise money with the oyster necklace for the Marine Conservation Society to help clean our beaches. This is my first necklace I ever designed and it was so much fun doing it with my family."

The Charity
BY 2050, PLASTIC COULD OUTWEIGH FISH IN OUR OCEANS
"By wearing this necklace, you support our shared mission to protect our oceans - a cause that is close to my heart after many family beach cleans over the years.
We have joined Work for Good and will donate 50% of profits from every Necklace sold to the Marine Conservation Society, a leading UK environmental charity dedicated to protecting our ocean.
We all need to come together and take action to prevent this and protect future generations. Raising money through a piece designed by my son makes this incredibly special to me.
It was very important to me that our latest launch had real heart and meaning. So when my son, Rory, asked if he could design the most beautiful oyster pendant, inspired by family holidays spent collecting shells along the beach, I instantly wanted to transform it into something special."
